We are all busy, working hard to make ends meet and we drive all our energy towards making thing happen, of course for our loved and closed ones. What we forget is, time and tide wait for none, children grow, parents grow old, eventually we loose touch with closest friends and family. Over a period of time every body gets too busy to spend time with each other.
We all know that money is only a means to an end. Of course money can ease your life for better but what are we sacrificing to earn that extra mad money. Kids are with baby sitters or in day care,parents are sent to old age homes. What needs to be kept in mind while we sacrifice our time is, your children are going to be in your shoes one day and you are in your parents. Life cycle don't stop for anyone. What is a point in crying over a spilled milk. We can not go back & change things. What we do today will determine our future. The time we spend with family, gifts that we share with each other, moments like that will hold the relationships together. Now if we get busy and forget to put the cement between the bricks, sooner or later the wall we are trying to build will collapse.
We have all heard this " Choose a job you love, and You will never have to work a day in your life". If we want to grow from where we are today, it certainty involves commitment and change. When we set new goals, for sure we need to get busy in following the required steps. However don't get lost in the process of heading somewhere. Smell the flowers along the way.
Being in limelight is not always a measure of success. Don't strive to overpower someone to go ahead but always strive to be the best you can. Limelight is not the only light worth seeking. Thanksgiving is not the only time to be thankful. Life is fragile, embrace each momeSeeking
